Dolmen is, on the one hand, eternal refuge, but on the other a macabre ritual. At first sight, it makes us think about the megalithic burials. However, once the subtle veil has been torn away, we see a sort of funeral procession emerge under its lytical appearance.
Reyes mummifies and embalms our material waste through a process of sublimation. This resulting aesthetic, similar to the Nouveau Réalisme of artists like César, Arman or Spoerri, becomes Dolmen in a totemic monument where the spoils of our successes, but primarily our failures, are erected in a central axis.
